BLAST Swimming Safe Sport Commitment
BLAST Swimming is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, volunteers, and members of the BLAST Swimming community. The protection of athletes and the prevention of abuse, misconduct, harassment, bullying, discrimination, and other inappropriate behavior are fundamental responsibilities of the organization.
BLAST Swimming will comply with applicable USA Swimming Safe Sport policies and requirements, as well as applicable policies and procedures established by the U.S. Center for SafeSport. All members of BLAST Swimming are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes athlete safety, protects personal boundaries, and supports a positive training and competition environment.
Any individual who observes, experiences, or becomes aware of conduct that may constitute abuse, misconduct, or a violation of Safe Sport policies is encouraged to report the concern promptly through the appropriate reporting channel. Reports may be made to designated BLAST Swimming leadership or through the applicable USA Swimming or U.S. Center for SafeSport reporting process. Individuals should not attempt to independently investigate allegations of abuse or misconduct.
Concerns involving conduct that falls under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Center for SafeSport should be reported directly to the Center in accordance with its reporting requirements. For concerns that may constitute an immediate threat to an athlete’s safety or involve suspected criminal activity, individuals should contact the appropriate law enforcement or emergency authorities.
USA Swimming Safe Sport concerns may be reported directly to USA Swimming at (719) 866-4578 or through its Safe Sport reporting resources. Anonymous tips may also be submitted by texting 888-270-SWIM (7946).

All reports will be handled in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, confidentiality requirements, and reporting obligations.
BLAST Swimming recognizes that athlete safety is a shared responsibility. Every member of the organization has a role in identifying concerns, maintaining appropriate boundaries, reporting suspected misconduct, and contributing to a culture in which athletes are treated with dignity, respect, and care.
